We collect as little as we can. This page explains what we keep, why, who helps us, and how to get your data removed. It is written to meet Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the EU and UK GDPR.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you subscribe. We use it only to send the newsletter and anything you asked for, such as a checklist. We also note how you found us (for example, a guide or a video link) so we know what's useful.
- Anonymous visit statistics, such as which pages are read. These use no cookies and don't identify you.
We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.
Why we're allowed to
Newsletter emails are sent with your consent, which you give when you subscribe and can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. Anonymous statistics are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the site.
Who helps us
- Kit (Kit.com) stores subscribers and sends the newsletter.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides cookie-free statistics.
- Cloudflare protects and speeds up the site.
- YouTube plays videos. Videos on this site load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
Some of these companies process data outside Thailand and the EU, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Unsubscribed addresses are removed from the active list.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email ajarncal@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Thailand, that's the PDPC.
